Group classes aren’t for everyone. For example, when you’re brand new to CrossFit and weightlifting, the best way to get you started is with one-on-one training sessions or our fundamentals, where we can dedicate 100% of our attention to you. One-on-one training sessions are also perfect for athletes who have hit a plateau or need to work on a specific skill or movement that’s holding them back. FUNDAMENTALS 

The Crossfit Cedar City Fundamentals course is our exciting introduction to the world of CrossFit, weightlifting and your new active lifestyle. It will prepare you to reach your highest possible level of fitness. Three sessions are required for anyone who is new to the CrossFit and weightlifting methodologies.

Our primary goal in these one-on-one sessions is to prepare you to join the CrossFit group and weightlifting classes with confidence. We will identify your personal strengths and weaknesses, some of which are yet unknown, to hone pre-existing skills and begin to improve on the things that are holding back your athletic ability. First, you will learn how to lift safely and efficiently with lighter weight. Our focus will be on developing a strong technical base. Then we will slowly add more movements and heavier weight once you are ready.

Each session will end with a metcon (a heart pumping work out) which will allow us to measure your progress. Under our guidance, you’ll have the chance to push yourself and put your new skills to the test. This program brings results! 

 

 


CROSSFIT 

Our CrossFit classes combine elements of gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, sprinting, rowing and jumping into one program to help you achieve elite fitness. This is the only program capable of simultaneously developing your endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy.

All of these principles are applied to a small group class where training with your friends does more than make the experience a ton of fun. Our CrossFit classes are all about team spirit and motivation. Whether you consider yourself a competitive CrossFitter or not, seeing others around you perform will instinctively push you to be your very best. Training with others also holds you accountable to staying on track. Miss a workout? It probably won’t go unnoticed. Chances are, you’ll get texts and Facebook messages from your buddies asking where you are. If you are having trouble getting motivated or have a tendency to fall off of the fitness wagon, then this is the place for you.

POWERLIFTING 

Our Powerlifting classes are perfect for athletes who are looking to develop explosive power, strength and to build some muscle. We have some of the best powerlifters and most experienced powerlifting coaches in Utah. We also have a dedicated room in our facility equipped with all the necessary training equipment you would need to hone your Powerlifting technique.

If it is your goal to be the best YOU that you can be then this is it. Powerlifting requires strength, speed and power all combined into 3 movements. We encourage all of our athletes to give this class a try.


We understand that group classes aren’t for everyone. Some benefit more in a one-on-one atmosphere. Some have specific objectives that aren’t always met in the class programming. Perhaps you’ve reached an athletic plateau or you are not making the type of progress you would like to be making. If any of these relates to you then consider joining us for a personal training session.

These sessions are the most effective and efficient way to achieve your personal fitness goals – especially when the WOD is just not enough to get you to where you want to be. One of the coaches will work with you to help define your goals, conduct a comprehensive assessment of your fitness level, and train you through a program designed specifically for your needs.

PERSONAL TRAINING  


This fun class is for kids in grades 1-6.  The classes run for 45 minutes and incorporate functional body weight movements, weight bearing exercieses aimed to help kids develop into a well rounded athletic and mentally strong individual, while emphasizing teamwork, encouragement, and persistance.  Within each class, there is a workout of the day, athletic games, and skills. 

At CFCC we love kids and we are motivated to see them grow and be happy.  We want to empower each child by building their self esteem and confidence.  As a by product they will become stronger, faster, more confident, and a better athlete!  We would love to have your child as a part of our team!  

CROSSFIT KIDS


AMP is an acronym for Achieve Maximum Performance.  We are continuing our tradition of building strength, confidence and teamwork in our program aimed at the teenage demographic.  Coach Alex Williams will bring his passion for youth and love of CrossFit to the table as he provides a fun and challenging environment for students.

Coach Alex will provide:

  • Programming that will build explosive power, strength, stamina, agility, speed and balance to complement your child’s sport.
  • A foundation intended to improve your child’s chances of standing out among other students vying for collegiate scholarships.

AMP is intended to allow CrossFit Cedar City to provide more specific training opportunities for youth who are serious about sport.  The classes will run more like the weights room at SUU, and less like a CrossFit Kids program, but your child can still expect a CrossFit influence.

Youth who find themselves drawn to the CrossFit model will be given an excellent foundation for regular CrossFit classes.  On an individual basis, we will gladly discuss allowing your teenager to join regular CrossFit classes with a parent if it better reflects his/her interests.
